Integration - Balance - Harmony
1 cup flakes of OATS OR QUINOA OR MILLET
3 cups water
1/8 tsp rock pink salt
3-5 whole black peppercorn
1 anise star seed
1 opened black cardomom
optional : 1/8 tsp cinnamom pwd or 3-4 chips
optional: milk / or almond milk / or rice beverage or soy beverage to taste
pure maple syrup for sweetening to taste
1 tsp Chia seeds soaked in 1/2 cup water ahead of time.
Method: In steel Saucepan boil water add salt and spices when starting to boil add the grain which you want to make porridge with and stir constantly. Lower heat and leave uncovered to boil 5 minutes or till grain is cooked. Serve: hot sweeted slightly with pure maple syrup, or cane sugar organic or as is with fresh fruits
Caustion : Do not mix fresh fruits to porridge if you are adding dairy milk to it.
If using almond/ rice / soya milk : It is ok to add blueberries, soaked almonds, or soaked walnuts for garnish.
